I’m surely not saying that the following methods are not worth doing simply because they are free. I’m just pointing out that you will have to invest your time if you want to see any significant results.



I actually believe the following strategies can be quite effective in generating free network marketing leads, so let’s not waste any more time! Don't forget to read through this carefully so that you won't have difficulty with MLM lead generation ever again!



Four Techniques You Can Use To Generate Free Network Marketing Leads:



1. Article Marketing



Article marketing can be one of the most reliable and valuable ways to market your business, but it is key that it is done correctly. Article marketing is not simply throwing up an article on a blog every once in a while.



You will need to do some keyword research first, to determine what you should be writing about and what keywords you are going to target. Then you will need to syndicate your content across the web and make sure that all of your syndicated content is pointing back to your original article.



You will also want to make sure that you are using the appropriate anchor text and that you are sending your traffic somewhere that will convert. It’s simply not enough to have them read your article…you want to turn that traffic into leads!



Syndicating your content can be time consuming, but there are many tools out there that can save you a lot of time. Some can be very inexpensive, less than $100, and others can be more expensive and may require an ongoing monthly fee.



Once you decide that you want to implement this strategy into your network marketing business, I would most certainly recommend doing your research to find a tool that will help you streamline the process. I realize that this doesn't really make this strategy free, but it can save you so much time and is still such a small amount of money!



One other crucial thing I do want to mention here is when you are writing articles, the intent is to teach others and share information. Writing a bunch of garbage or spammy articles just to write something won't really produce any long term results for you.



The fantastic thing about article marketing is that if you do it right and put out beneficial content, you will continue to get leads from an article you write today for months or even years to come. You do have to be patient, though, and remain consistent and diligent because the results won’t come overnight. However, if you do stick with it, the results will come.



2. Video Marketing



When I first got started in this industry, video marketing is how I got most of my first sign-ups. It can be very effective because you are right there for your prospects to see – face to face.



It's important again, that this method is used properly. It’s not enough just to throw up a video here and there and say you are doing video marketing. There is keyword research that needs to be done here as well.



I would highly recommend having a YouTube account, as long as you remember to treat YouTube as you would any other social networking site, such as Facebook. You are there to meet people, build relationships with them and provide value. As always, no spam here...just good quality content!



There are also some tools that you could use to help you disseminate your videos to multiple video sites, some free, some not. Just like before, do your research to determine what works with your budget and your needs!



3. Forum Marketing



Forum marketing can be a great free method, again, when done correctly! Although, joining a handful of fourms and then pitching your MLM business is the fastest way to NOT get free network marketing leads.



I’m always amazed by the number of people who actually do this. They join a forum and then proceed to pitch their business in their first post, offering no value to the community. Furthermore, they don’t bother to put up a picture or a bio or even a good signature. It’s always seemed so silly to me.



You surely aren't going to be that person because you know it will just be a waste of your time.



Instead, decide how many forums you can commit to, maybe 1-3 to start. Take the few minutes to put up a picture and fill out your profile.



Okay, so what next, you ask?



Again, as I mentioned before, don't pitch your business in your posts. Leave your selling for your signature. Speaking of that, put a link in your signature that offers people more than a generic company website/capture page.



The purpose of a forum is to have a place where people with similar interests can go and share ideas and information. A forum is a great place to find answers, ask questions and also answer other people's questions. That’s what you ought to be doing.



Get to know other members on the forum and participate in the conversations. It really is a community and a good place to build up relationships. Lead with value and you won’t go wrong.



I want to touch upon your signature that I brought up earlier. You have the opportunity to put a link or maybe two in your signature so make it worth your whileMost forums provide you with the opportunity to add a link or two to your signature so be sure you are utilizing them properly.

Social media marketing can very quickly turn into a time vacuum so be very careful with this one!



The first thing you want to do is join some of the top social media sites, such as Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. It is important that you take the time to complete your profile, but don’t make it all business.



These are social sites, so you want to show that you have more sides to you than just being a network marketer.



Now, go out there and make friends. Get to know people and participate in the conversations. Most importantly, listen to others and find out what it is they want. Share with your friends, don’t just sell to them.



It’s okay to occasionally promote an affiliate offer or your own offer, but 90% of the time, you should be providing value and demonstrating leadership.



There will be an opportunity for you to provide links to your websites in your profile. Yet again, please don't be sending your new friends to generic company landing pages or websites. (Do I sound like a broken record yet? GOOD. It’s really THAT important!)



Generic sites dont' allow your friends to get to know you better and they definitely don't provide them with any value.



Sending them to your blog would be a great start. They can get to know you better, see the value you have to offer and sign up for your mailing list while they are there!



This will definitely allow you to develop a much stronger relationship with them, and from there, who knows? Maybe they will end up on your team down the road, or maybe they will purchase one of your products or an affiliate product.
